The ITFA Americas hosted a summer networking event on July 24^th in Toronto, providing a valuable platform for networking and knowledge sharing amongst the trade finance community in Canada.

The event attracted a diverse group of approximately 35 trade finance professionals, including bankers, insurers, brokers, fintechs and other key stakeholders in the trade finance ecosystem.

It was a resounding success, providing trade finance professionals the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and expand their professional networks. The positive feedback received from the attendees highlights the value of such events in fostering industry relationships and promoting knowledge exchange.

A Toast to Summer: VEFI and ITFA Summer Cocktail 2024!

What do you get when you mix a stunning lakeside venue, perfect summer weather, and a crowd of enthusiastic forfaiters and trade finance specialists? The unforgettable VEFI & ITFA Summer Cocktail!

On August 28th, we gathered at the breathtaking Belvoir Boat House in Zurich for an evening of great company and even better vibes. The picturesque lakeside setting was buzzing with energy as our members mingled with international guests. The atmosphere was wonderfully lively, especially with the young rowing club members who, after some impressive boat prepping, couldn’t resist joining us at the buffet. (We’re pretty sure they rowed faster with the promise of dessert!)
