Stammtisch of the German Regional Committee on July 10, 2014

Despite the World Cup 2014 this year’s Stammtisch – Spring/ Summer meeting – of the German Regional Committee was very well attended by GRC Members from all over Germany; the date “July 10” had been carefully selected in order to avoid conflicts of interest.

On the occasion of this meeting Mrs Christine Borusiak of BHF-BANK, Frankfurt am Main, was introduced as successor of Mr Stephan Schneider, who stepped down from the GRC Board last fall. The GRC Board thanked Stephan Schneider very much for his role within the scope of the ITFA, especially the GRC, his co operation and support during his years on the GRC Board.

Highlights of the topics discussed:

– update from the last Board Meeting;
– change of the name from IFA to ITFA;
– ADB Survey on Forfaiting;
– Issues caused by the European Directive (CRD);
– GRC elections this fall;
– GRC workshop this fall.

The exchange of news as well as the discussions on matters of mutual interest took place in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

All the attendees looked forward to meeting up again at the 41st Annual Forfaiting Conference which takes place from 10-12 September 2014 in Barcelona.
