In collaboration with Sullivan & Worcester, ITFA is pleased to invite you to yet another Trade Finance Breakfast Seminar entitled “Trade and Export Finance: Risk Sharing Techniques – Similarities, Differences and Consequences.” This seminar is going to be held on Thursday 23rd March 2017, at Pinners Hall, London, UK. Registration and breakfast are at 8:15 am followed by the seminar from 8:45 till 10:00 am.
Hannah Fearn will consider the similarities and differences between guarantees, sub-participations, insurance policies and other forms of unfunded credit protection. She will consider the practical and regulatory consequences of different instruments – for example, an instrument being characterised as a surety guarantee instead of a demand guarantee, or being treated as an insurance policy instead of a risk participation. Geoff Wynne and Hannah will give some pointers as to what to do.
ITFA members interested in attending this seminar are kindly requested to register by clicking here.
We are pleased to inform you that following the seminar, the presentation will be available for all ITFA members, in the Member Area of the ITFA website. Moreover, please click here to view last month’s Trade Finance Breakfast Seminar video.
As always, we do hope you enjoy the events we promote.
