Orbitt is a digital deal origination and processing platform that connects global investors with Africa’s growing companies. By digitising the African investment ecosystem and using smart matching technology, Orbitt is addressing some of the challenges in the capital raise process to increase the efficient allocation of capital across Africa.
The platform matches investors (private equity, structured debt, trade finance) with investment opportunities based on investment criteria such as sector, geography, investment size, revenue and EBITDA. Users then expedite the deal process by using tools such as deal tracking and digital NDAs to replace traditional methods and reduce the time taken between introductions and acceptance of term sheet.
Orbitt also acts as a business development tool for intermediary and advisory specialists to find new Africa-focused clients. Through intermediary service matching technology, Orbitt directs the right intermediary to a company that is raising capital, depending on their expertise in a particular region, sector or type of deal.
