The North East Asia Regional Committee (NEARC) has successfully held its Luncheon Party on 29 January 2015 in Beijing celebrating the upcoming Chinese New Year. During the party, 14 participants from 9 NEARC members including BOC, ICBC, ABC, China CITIC, Bank of Jiangsu, China Everbright Bank, CCB, China Merchants Bank and China Minsheng Banking Corp. exchange views on current trend in Chinese market, regulatory requirement and explore business opportunities.
All believed that as China’s economy is at the stage of New Normal, the banking sector is facing very complicated economic environment and must be ready to cope with unpredictable challenges ahead. At the same time, Chinese banks could also benefit from a series of State’s “open up” policy and deepening reform measures, such as supporting corporate’s going-abroad for investment, encouraging cross-border RMB settlement and setting up free trade zone in mainland China.
In the party, all the participants enjoyed the food very much because the restaurant is famous for its more than one hundred choices of Chinese dumplings.
