News of the ITFA GRC annual workshop/dinner and Newly elected ITFA GRC Board announced

This year’s workshop for senior forfaiters was hosted by BHF-BANK Aktiengesellschaft in Frankfurt am Main on November 5, 2014.  This was then followed by an invitation from the International Trade & Forfaiting Association to a networking dinner for all participants of the workshop. As in previous years the workshop, reserved for ITFA members only, held in German, was very well attended.  

Amongst others, this year the topics covered issues related to:

Traditional Forfaiting; ECA covered Forfaiting; KYC; Sanctions, Fraud; BAFT MRPA; Insurance.

The lively discussions continued during dinner, in the very relaxed atmosphere of the “Neue Volkswirt”, with good food, beer and wine.

We would like to thank

·         the ITFA – International Trade & Forfaiting Association for sponsoring the networking dinner.

We already look forward to next year’s workshop which will probably take place at the end of November 2015 and which will be combined with an ITFA GRC Christmas dinner again.

The ITFA GRC community also elected a new GRC Board at the end of the workshop:

As Sandra Beck, KFW IPEX and Michael Boeken, WGZ, stepped down from the ITFA GRC Board, we would like to thank them for their very good work, support and co operation during their term on the ITFA GRC Board.
