VEFI ACTIVITIES, Feb 2023

As many of you will have already taken notice of following the recent email by ITFA, the Association of Forfaiters in Switzerland ‘VEFI’, will soon be hosting its traditional bowling and jass evening kindly sponsored by Willis Towers Watson (more details can be found in the invitation sent by ITFA, link here). This provides an excellent opportunity to look back at VEFI’s most recent gathering – the annual Christmas party, sponsored by ITFA – which was a huge success and saw record attendance given it was the first VEFI Christmas gathering without any COVID restrictions. Attendees travelled from all across Switzerland, and from as far as the UK, Greece, and neighbouring Germany. The event was hosted at one of Zurich’s traditional guild houses (with many attendees taking the opportunity to visit a local Christmas market in the centre of Zurich afterwards). The evening was filled with interesting business discussions, and attendees were just so happy to raise a glass to many successes after what can easily be described as yet another trying year, and to leaving some of the challenges behind, ready to encounter new ones in 2023.

On this note we hope to see many of you throughout the course of the year at local events in Switzerland and abroad.
