ITFA’s Full Publication – White Paper on Sustainable Trade Finance and African Trade

ITFA is proud to announce the publication of its full White Paper on sustainable trade finance and African trade, following consultation with the industry on its positioning paper published in October 2022. Produced by the ITFA team and Kleos Advisory, this White Paper seeks to give an African voice to the evolving debate on sustainability standards for trade. Africa’s trade finance gap continues to widen and it is essential that new standards do not prove unworkable for African traders and make access to trade finance even harder. The paper lays out five calls for action to regulators, DFIs and the trade finance sector, and we welcome cooperation with our partners, both international and in Africa, to drive forward this agenda.
