ITFA is partnering with GTR during the GTR MENA, Dubai

ITFA is delighted to once again partner with Global Trade Review (GTR) for GTR MENA 2023, taking place in Dubai on February 21-22, 2023, for a two-day physical gathering. Moreover, the ITFA Board is also pleased to announce that ITFA will be sponsoring the networking drinks reception being hosted at the end of Day 1.

Furthermore, the ITFA Board members will have various meetings with the MENA Regional Board in preparation for the ITFA 49th Annual Conference 2023, which is going to be held between 11-13 October 2023 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

GTR MENA will cover critical market insight and providing networking opportunities with senior to C-suite experts, this in-person gathering delivers a highly anticipated opportunity to connect with the key players and access to a full spectrum of companies involved in trade and exports in this exciting region.

Event discussion themes include:

• ‘May you live in interesting times’ – making sense of a complex trade landscape
• Ensuring energy and food security – a renewed priority
• The electronic bill of lading – strengthening the digitising of supply chains

The ITFA Board will also be contributing to the sessions, wherein Chris Hall will be forming part of a panel of experts, which on Day 1 will be discussing: Finding the positives – the growth of trade credit in the region.

Day Two will also be busy for ITFA as during the afternoon, we will be hosting the ITFA Middle East Regional Committee Seminar. Both Lorna Pillow as well as Andre Casterman will be speaking during this interesting afternoon. Lorna will be presenting ITFA’s Uniform Rules for Transferable Electronic Payment Obligations (URTEPO), whilst Andre will be joining a panel wherein capital market and retails investors to the trade finance asset class will be discussed.
