ITFA Supply Chain Industry Summit, Australia, May 2023

On 15 March 2023, the ITFA Australia and New Zealand Regional Committee hosted the inaugural Australia Supply Chain Industry Summit at Macquarie Group’s premises in Sydney, Australia. The event gathered industry participants to discuss and debate the state of the burgeoning supply chain finance market in Australia.

The audience had a unique opportunity to hear from distinguished experts in the supply chain finance market – Financial Institutions, Sustainability experts, Fintechs and Economists. There was a lot of honesty about what is needed to replicate success achieved in other markets, but also excitement about the opportunity the market has to transform the financing available to support our customers and communities. To solve the complexities that today’s supply chains bring and emerging sustainability goals, all the participants concluded that supply chain finance carries innovative qualities to uniquely meet changing future paradigms.
