At the ITFA Annual Conference, Vincent O’Brien, ‘Vin’, will chair the Panel discussion – originating, financing and distributing trade receivables; a global business. The discussion will focus on:

• How we can all learn from each other; and
• The different techniques: how to choose the best from each.

Others present on the panel include: Damian Austin, Director & Head of Trade Finance Syndications, Barclays Bank plc; Faisal Lalani, Executive Vice President, Head of International and Institutional Banking Emirates NBD; Simon Lay, Acting CEO, FIMBank plc; Markus Wohlgeschaffen, Managing Director & Global Head of Trade Products, UniCredit.

Vincent is a member of ICC Banking Commission and ICC and Chair of the ICC Market Intelligence Group (MIG).  He has delivered technical trade finance assistance in more than 70 countries for major banks and development institutions.  He is regularly involved as an expert witness in arbitration and legal cases.  He is an Associate Director of the Institute of International Banking Law and Practice, USA.

Vin is highly regarded for speaking his mind and his ability to plain complex situations and structures in a clear and straightforward manner.

Mr. O’Brien was recently appointed as member of the Executive Committee of the ICC Banking Commission.
