ITFA Important Announcement

The ITFA Board is excited to share some important updates and new initiatives announced during the recent ITFA AGM 2024.

New Roles for Elected Members:

• Sian Aspinall has graciously accepted the role of chairing our Insurance Committee. We look forward to her leadership and expertise in this critical area.
• NLN Swaroop will be leading the ITFA Trade Finance Investment Ecosystem (ITFIE) working group focused on developing trade as an asset class with non-bank and institutional investors. His increased involvement in the board brings fresh perspectives and strengthens our organisation.

Establishment of a New Advocacy Group:

We are also pleased to announce the formation of a new Advocacy Committee, led by Silja Calac. This Committee will be instrumental in driving forward our efforts to improve our business environment and foster the dialogue with regulatory authorities. Silja will be at the helm, guiding the process and ensuring our advocacy efforts are impactful and aligned with our goals. For this purpose, she will closely cooperate with the relevant working groups in other Committees such as the IC or the MPC.
