Trade Megatrends for 2023 – how sustainable will we be? with Dr Rebecca Harding
Rebecca’s session will look at the big factors driving trade and supply chain finance in 2023. She will assess the impact of the conflict in Ukraine, look at the enduring effects on trade of commodity prices and inflation, assess the “known unknown” of China as it reopens post-pandemic, and examine at the impact that sustainability regulations will have on trade finance in terms of capital requirements and of course, new product-market opportunities. As we move into the end of Q1 it may seem a little late to start talking about this year’s megatrends, but she will argue that the way in which supply chain resilience is beginning to dominate a geoeconomics as well the trade debate, many of these themes will remain relevant into 2024 and beyond.
Leadership Development and Performance for Trade Financiers
After the seminar, Gurshinder Sidhu of Leadership Circuit Ltd will conduct a training session covering leadership development, high performance, and the benefits of coaching.
