This year for the first time since its set up, the ITFA African Regional Committee, will be present at the Afreximbank Annual Structured Trade Finance Seminar. The event will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Casablanca, Morocco. between the 7th and 9th of November 2018.

The 2018 seminar will focus on ‘Fundamentals of Structured Trade Finance’ and will empower participants with the capacity to properly identify risks in typical trade finance transactions and to be able to structure bankable trade and trade-related project finance deals of varying levels of complexity.

Some of the members of the ITFA African Regional Committee will also participate in this educational seminar. ARC Chair – Duarte Pedreira (Crown Agents Bank), and ARC members Simon Cook (Sullivan & Worcester),  Alastair McLeod (JLT) and Christian Karam (Africa Trade Finance), will be amongst those present to lead a few of the sessions.
