| ITFA is delighted to announce the results of the election for the African Regional Committee (ARC) for the period 2026-29, which was held on 7-14 November. There was strong turnout from eligible ITFA voters and broad endorsement for all the candidates who bring a wide range of regional and professional expertise to the ARC. The new ARC comprises 12 members, including seven who have been re-elected and five new members: · Ahanna Anaba, Head of Sales and Partnerships, Finverity · Albert Rweyemamu, Principal Underwriter, ATIDI · Anne-Marie Woolley, Founder & CEO, Africa Global Trade Finance (ATGF) · Claudia Lopes, Head of Trade Syndications and Distribution, Crown Agents Bank (CAB) · Derryn Faure, International Trade Finance, Investec · George Wilson, CEO, ARM · Ian Milne, Executive Director – Sales, MonetaGo · Kevin Holmes, Head Trade and Working Capital Product Development, Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) · Lamia Sayari Riabi, Partner, T3I · Lina Iyok, Trade Finance Manager, Afreximbank · Rima Kalai, Executive Director – Asset Distribution, ATF Finance · Simon Cook, Partner, Sullivan & Worcester Tedd George (Kleos Advisory) will continue as ARC Secretariat, supporting the development and delivery of the ARC’s annual programme of activities. The new ARC Board will take up its role on January 1st 2026.
