ITFA and GTR – MENA Trade Finance Week, Dubai

ITFA is this year collaborating with GTR to once again bring the MENA Trade Finance Week in Dubai. This 3-day conference starting on the 12th February, which is being held at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, welcomes multinational companies, SMEs, financiers, insurers, risk managers, lawyers, consultants, government bodies and ECAs. This annual gathering of trade finance professionals provides unrivalled access to hundreds of companies and institutions engaged in regional trade.

ITFA is pleased to announce that this year, ITFA and GTR are partnering on such a prestigious MENA event. During one of the afternoon working groups being held on Day 2 of the event, ‘’The Art of Structuring: An Education’’, the Stream B workshop will be led by ITFA. Refer to the event website for more details. Our very own Zeyno de Vries-Davutoglu – ITFA Board Member, Head of Education Committee, will be the workshop leader, whilst 3 other ITFA Board Members will be heading the working groups, each addressing the following topics:

Lorna Pillow – ITFA Head of Communication and Membership – the Role of Receivables Finance as a solution for Working Capital Optimisation;

Anurag Chaudhary – ITFA Head of Institutional Relations – Supply Chain Finance Programmes;

Silja Calac – ITFA Head of Insurance Relations and Treasury – Distribution and Risk Mitigation.

This year’s event is bigger and more diverse than ever, featuring an expanded treasury focus, a specialised ECA and infrastructure finance day, two days covering trade and export finance, and a GTR Training seminar focusing on international trade & documentary credits.

With long-standing links to the region’s leading trade organisations, including corporates, banks and government bodies, GTR’s annual event in Dubai plays a vital role in bringing the market together and enabling dialogue between key industry players.
