ITFA Americas proudly announces its Fall Seminar, titled ‘The State of Alternative Funding for Trade and Supply Chain Transactions‘. This in-person event will consist of a seminar followed by networking drinks.

A rising number of large asset managers and capital managers are providing increasing amounts of funding for corporate clients’ trade and working capital needs, especially in the sub-investment grade arena.  While commercial banks continue to provide funding for large and mid-sized corporate clients, they are being joined by and competing against sophisticated institutional investors who look for arbitrage opportunities between capital markets and traditional trade finance activities.  Accordingly, such opportunities often call for credit insurance, collateral managers, logistics and warehousing experts, and much else. The panel will discuss all these important elements of the trade industry that help add liquidity to the marketplace.
