Invitation to ITFA members to attend the ITFA Educational Seminar, London – 10 December 2018

Following the success of last December’s Educational event, the ITFA Board is pleased to again host an educational seminar titled ‘Wrapping-up 2018 and rewriting 2019?’’

When: Before the ITFA Christmas Cocktail Party on Monday, 10 December 2018. Admission is at 2:00pm and seminar starts at 2:15pm finishing at 5:00pm

WhereBarclays, 1 Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5HP. We wish to emphasize that to enter the Barclays buildingyou will need to present your Photographic ID. So please be sure to bring it along with you.

The Agenda is as follows:

2:00pm – Admission
2:15pm  – ITFA presentation, Sean Edwards – ITFA Chairman
2:30pm  – New standards in accounting and how it will affect the trade finance market: IFRS 9; Etienne Welgemoed – E&Y
3:30pm  – Tea/coffee break
4:00pm  – What future for trade in the current economic environment; Victoire de Groot, Global Head of Country Risk, Global Wholesale Credit and Market Risk – HSBC Plc

Attendance to the event is limited to two participants per ITFA member institution. Please register by sending an email on jennymeilak@itfa.org by latest Friday 30 November 2018.

Please be aware that we have limited seating capacity, therefore admission is restricted to registered members only. Seats will be made available on a first come first serve basis.
