Stephane Gonon
Executive Director of the Receivables & Supply Chain Finance Department of CACIB Paris since 2019 in charge of the products development and the supervising of the structuring of the Receivables financing and forfaiting transactions for the all CACIB worldwide network. Previously, worked as Head of Forfaiting of CACIB for 14years within CALYON/CACIB developing the franchise of the bank within 20 countries. Started in the field of Corporate Banking in New York and Paris with CIC Bank and Banque Hervet (CCF/ HSBC) before joining their International Department in 1994, as a Marketing Officer in the field of Correspondent Banking and Trade Finance, FX products. Worked for BDEI/Credit Lyonnais Forfaiting in 1997 as a Forfaiting Specialist for both primary and secondary market and then, in 2001 joined Deutsche Bank Paris, as Vice President, Trade Finance Sales to promote the all range of Trade products and services for the bank in France.
Stephane holds a Master and an advanced degree focused in Economics and Financial Markets from University of Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris) completed by a course in Finance at the American Institute of Banking, NY. He participated actively in several works for ITFA, ICC such as the review of the drafting of Forfaiting rules URF 800, the forfaiting task force, and GSCF Forum. Took over the responsibility of the chair of ITFA/SERC in 2016.
