Sanjeev Ganjoo
Sanjeev currently is the Global Head of Trade Receivable Finance and Global Trade Product Head-Commercial Bank business for Citi. Receivables Finance business is one of the key focus area for Global Trade in Citi, in terms of assets, revenues and growth potential. Sanjeev currently manages the portfolio of over $25Bn in Assets across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
Receivables Finance business comprises of multiple product offerings like Account Receivable Financing, Distribution Finance and Credit Insured Account Receivable Financing. Besides Receivable Finance, Sanjeev also oversees globally trade products for Commercial Bank client segment.
Sanjeev has been the career banker with over two decades of experience across, Coverage, Credit, Product and sales. During 2003-2015, Sanjeev was based in UAE and had been leading several product and sales functions within Citi. His last assignment in UAE was as Treasury & Trade Solution Head for Abu Dhabi. In 2016, Sanjeev moved to Miami and was heading the Supply Chain Finance & Trade Finance business for Latin America, covering 21 countries. Subsequently during 2018-19, he was the Regional Head of Trade for Latin America. Mid 2019, Sanjeev moved to New York to take up the Global Responsibility for Receivable Finance business. And during his initial years in Banking (1996-2003) he was working with ICICI Bank and IDBI Bank in India in Corporate Banking.
Sanjeev did his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 and then Masters in Business Administration from Mumbai University, India in 1996.
