Sam joined Liberty’s Financial Risk Solutions team in March 2017, becoming London Head in Jan 2022 and Head of the global Credit Solutions pillar in Aug 2023. He manages a team of 14 underwriters responsible for a wide range of global credit and political risks. Prior to joining the insurance industry Sam spent 14 years in banking, working at Deutsche Bank and UBS in both Credit Risk and Structured Commodity Finance origination roles. He holds a 1st class degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
