Rim Faker
Rim holds over 13 years of Trade Finance expertise, with a primary focus on business origination from Financial Institutions and Commodity Traders. Her roles have always involved comprehensive product management, guiding each step of a product’s lifecycle—from development to positioning and pricing, but also transaction structuring.
She started her career as a trainee at Commerzbank Paris in 2010, as a Trade Finance Sales Specialist with a specialization in relationship management for Commodity Traders. Progressing through Société Générale and Attijariwafa Bank Europe, Paris, she played a pivotal role in launching the Bank’s Syndication & Distribution Desk, which is still up and running.
Later in 2014, Rim joined Bank ABC Paris as a Trade Finance Relationship Manager within the Wholesale Banking department. Five years ago, she relocated and assumed the position of Business Development Manager – Trade Finance and Financial Institutions at National Bank of Egypt (UK) Limited, concurrently managing the Bank’s Trade Finance activity but also it’s Trade Assets distribution desk.
Rim’s genuine interest and passion for International Commerce and Trade have fueled her involvement in thousands of transactions across the MENA region with major European and International Companies. Armed with a Master’s degree in Finance from ESSEC Tunis and additional degrees in Management Programme Grande Ecole and Business and International Negotiation from ISG Business School, Paris, Rim is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
