Rim Faker

Rim holds approximately 15 years of expertise in Trade Finance, with a strong focus on business origination from Financial Institutions and Commodity Traders. Her experience spans comprehensive product management, covering the full lifecycle from development to positioning, pricing, and transaction structuring.

She began her career at Commerzbank Paris as a trainee in Trade Finance Sales, focusing on relationship management for Commodity Traders. She then progressed through Société Générale and Attijariwafa Bank Europe, Paris, where she played a key role in launching the Bank’s Syndication & Distribution Desk in 2012—a project then that continues to operate successfully today.

In 2014, Rim joined Bank ABC Paris as a Trade Finance Relationship Manager within the Wholesale Banking department. Six years ago, she relocated to London to take on the role of Business Development Manager – Trade Finance and Financial Institutions at National Bank of Egypt (UK) Limited. There, she was responsible for overseeing all Trade Finance activity, including managing the Bank’s Trade Asset Distribution Desk.

Rim has recently joined Arab National Bank London Branch as Head of Trade Finance and Financial Institutions.

Her passion for international commerce and trade has driven her involvement in thousands of transactions across the MENA region, working closely with major European and International corporates.

She is also a Board Member of the Northern European Regional Committee (NERC) of the International Trade and Forfaiting Association (ITFA) since February 2022.

Rim holds a Master’s in Finance from ESSEC, Tunis, a Master’s in Management (Programme Grande École) with a specialization in Business and International Negotiation from ISG Business School, Paris, and a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.

She is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
