N L N Swaroop is Global Product Head for Sustainable Trade Finance, Innovation, Financial Institutions and Asset Distribution at HSBC.
Swaroop has 17 years of rich experience across Banking and Insurance in varied roles ranging from risk underwriting, trade financing, business development, general management and coverage banking across India and the UK. Swaroop is an active industry voice at International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Bankers Association for Finance & Trade (BAFT) and International Trade and Forfaiting Association (ITFA) for developing trade as an investible asset class by attracting greater institutional capital and embedding ESG principles in trade finance.
Swaroop is a Chemical engineer, holds a Master’s degree in management for FMS, Delhi University and has a Post Graduate Certification from University of Cambridge in Sustainable Value Chains . He has a keen interest in the area of sustainable development, sustainable supply chains, nature and biodiversity and has several papers to his credit and is a regular speaker at various industry forums.
