Jochen Teufel
Jochen Teufel has more than 25 years’ experience in various international departments of DZ BANK AG.
After studying economics, he began his professional career at the former SGZ Bank AG as an analyst in the banking and country analysis group, which he took over as head in 2000.
After the merger to form DZ BANK AG (2002), he continued to hold management positions in credit analysis. He continued to focus on bank and country risks. He was also responsible for foreign corporates, insurance companies and funds.
Due to his responsibility for emerging markets, the focus of the transactions he supported in these functions was on international trade finance.
In October 2021, he moved to the Structured Finance division. He currently heads the Trade Finance group there.
Since December 2023 Jochen is a Board Member of the German Regional Committee at ITFA.
