His journey with Allianz Trade (the world leader in trade credit insurance, subsidiary of Allianz) began in 2004, where he assumed various key leadership roles predominantly in finance, including CFO, Regional Finance Director, and Program Director in several countries France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Five years ago, Jean took on the role of CEO at Allianz Trade in the Middle East, spearheading initiatives to double the book of trade credit insurance in the Middle-East Region to enable companies to trade safely. Securing trades bring prosperity which ultimately lead to peace.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jean is recognized as a passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity. He firmly believes that these aspects should be prioritized by everyone, emphasizing not only the social equality perspective but also acknowledging the tangible business benefits that arise when teams embrace diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.

Allianz Trade in Middle East is part of Allianz Trade Group, the worldwide leader in Credit Insurance, rated AA by S&P and part of the Allianz Group. Established its operations in UAE back in 2006 in cooperation with local partners with more than 80 employees, including 35 risk experts and commercial underwriters delivering world class Trade Credit Insurance solutions to the corporates. Allianz Trade in Middle East provides reinsurance support to a number of selected local insurance companies in the region, which underwrite trade credit insurance policies designed and approved by Euler Hermes in its capacity as a Reinsurer, according to Euler Hermes global risk information knowledge and underwriting standards and processes. In Dubai, Allianz Trade Middle East provides reinsurance support to Alliance Insurance PSC. In KSA, Allianz Trade in Middle East provides reinsurance support to Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Ins. Co. We also provide reinsurance support to other locally licensed insurance companies across the Region.
