Diogo Figueiroa is the SVP – Head of Global Trade and Supply Chain solutions at Banco Sabadell – Miami Branch.

He joined the bank in 2014 to initiate the bank’s global trade and supply chain finance line of business in the Americas. He implemented and promoted all trade-associated products such as export/import finance, supply chain finance, ECA and trade credit insured backed facilities. He created multiple relationships with US and LatAm corporates and with partnering banks and fin-techs. During this period, the team has structured and participated in facilities exceeding $14bi designed to support corporates in over 15 countries including transactions backed by over 10 different Insurers.

Prior to Sabadell Diogo worked at the international division of Banco Espirito Santo based in Lisbon and headed the Trade and Export finance division at Espirito Santo Bank based in Miami focusing primarily on ECA and trade credit insured lending and receivables purchase facilities to LatAm and Caribbean clients.

Diogo is Portuguese, trilingual and holds a Masters in Business Administration, a BA degree and a management executive education course from INSEAD, France. He has three children and has been living in Miami for the last 17years.
