David Quehenberger started his career in 2012 at Swiss Re as a graduate in the Credit & Surety division, rotating between Munich, Singapore, and Zurich offices.

After successful completion of the program, he started as an underwriter in Swiss Re’s Documentary Trade Finance team in Munich, becoming Senior Underwriter for Trade & Supply Chain Finance in 2016.

In 2019 David went on international assignment to Singapore, relocating back to Munich afterwards. In 2021 he took up the role of Lead Underwriter Portfolio Solutions.

David holds a M.Sc. in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilian University, Munich.
