ExCred Commodities: Insuring Commodity And Project Finance, London – 17 September 2019

Following ITFA’s recent partnership agreement with ExCred, the ITFA Board is pleased to  inform you about our involvement in ExCred Commodities. This will be held on 17th September 2019 at Hilton London Tower Bridge, London.

Structured commodity and project finance takes place in an inherently complex and dynamic environment, reinforcing the importance of effective credit risk mitigants such as insurance. As such, ITFA will be participating in the panel discussion Claims Round Table: Industry Insights Into 2020.

The session will be moderated by Lorna Pillow,   ITFA’s Deputy Chairperson. The panelists include:  Sander Stujit – Head of Structured Commodity Finance, EMEA,   Deutsche  Bank, Tim Bradford – CEO, Leadenhall,  Marian Boyle – Partner,   Sulllivan and Worcester, Nick Kilhams – Chairman of the Lloyd’s LMA Non-Marine Committee, Lloyd’s Syndicate 1084 and Rupert Cutler – Director of the Financial & Political Risk Division, Parker Norfolk & Partners Ltd.

During the session, the above panel of experts will identify what to look out for when insuring commodity and project finance transactions, as well as discussing the key features (and some pitfalls) of the typical claims process.
