EBSI – IFC Global Trade Finance Programme – Discounts for ITFA Members

Following another agreement entered into between ITFA and eBSI Export Academy, we are delighted to inform you that we have managed to negotiate yet another very attractive deal for our ITFA members.

The eBSI Export Academy has launched a new Trade Finance e-learning certificate programme under the auspices of the International Finance Corporation (IFC). IFC is pleased to announce the global re-launching of its e-learning program: IFC International Trade Finance eLearning program (previously known as the IFC FIT initiative), a specialized training program designed to encompass the core products and foundation of operational areas of International Trade Finance. Since 2008, this program has resulted in over 800 graduates. The new global program has been completely updated and redeveloped and is now available globally to all trade finance practitioners.

This initiative is sponsored by IFC and delivered by eBSI Export Academy’s team of worldwide experts in order to ensure the highest standards of quality. The programme is dedicated to building global capacity in international trade finance through new and innovative learning methods.

IFC Trade Finance e-learning course is comprised of 50 hours of interactive online training, covering the following Learning Units:

▪          Methods of Payment
▪          Documentary Collections
▪          Documentary Credits Fundamentals
▪          Management of Documentary Credits
▪          Bonds and Guarantees
▪          Short and Medium Term Finance
▪          Factoring Fundamentals
▪          ECA and Warehouse Finance
▪          Commodity Trade Finance
▪          Fraud Identification and Prevention

The successful completion of the e-learning program provides access to 16 PDUs from the IFS University College towards the CDCS & CSDG re-certification.

However, the ITFA Board is pleased to announce that following its agreement with eBSI, ITFA has managed to obtain 4 registrations each at 50% discount for its ITFA members. As always, the 4 registrations at 50% discount will be available to ITFA members on a first come first serve basis. Moreover, each member institution can avail themselves of only one discounted registration, in order to be fair to all members. Please bear in mind that such offers are eligible for new bookings only.
