Deep Tier Supply Chain Finance (DTSCF) Working Group
As we continue to navigate the complex landscape of supply chain management, it has become increasingly evident that traditional approaches to financing may not fully address the challenges posed by deep-tier supply chains. To tackle this issue and explore innovative solutions, the ITFA Market Practice Committee is initiating the formation of a Working Group on Deep Tier Supply Chain Finance (DTSCF).
The primary objectives of this working group are as follow:
- We aim to comprehensively understand the unique challenges associated with financing deep-tier supply chains, including but not limited to visibility, structuring, risk assessment, and access to capital.
- Leveraging the collective expertise of group members, we will explore and evaluate potential solutions and best practices that address the identified challenges effectively.
- Through open discussion and collaboration, we seek to foster knowledge sharing and the development of collaborative strategies that benefit all stakeholders involved in deep-tier supply chains.
- Our ultimate goal is to develop practical frameworks, guidelines, or recommendations that can serve as a roadmap for implementing deep-tier supply chain finance initiatives.
- Beyond theoretical discussions, we aim to provide actionable insights and support to facilitate the implementation of effective deep-tier supply chain finance solutions across borders.
