CEERC-CIS Yearly Education Event and Cocktail Party, 23rd April 2015

The ITFA Board is pleased to announce that ITFA’s CEERC (Central and Eastern European Regional Committee) is organising its yearly Educational Event on Thursday 23rd April at 2.00 p.m. in Vienna, at the premises of UniCredit Bank Austria. 

The course will focus on and address two main topics:

–  Mr. Gergely Tardos, Chief Economist of OTP Bank Plc will be speaking about recent economic developments in the CEE region, with special emphasis on the most problematic Russian and Ukrainian markets followed by an open discussion;

–  Ms. Silja Calac, Senior Surety Underwriter, Vice President of  Swiss Re International SE, and Head of Insurance Relations on the ITFA Board, will speak about  the  new possibilities offered by insurance companies to provide surety for banks, and the reasons why insurers are the perfect partners for transaction banks.

The Regional Committee has invited all member representatives as well as other banks and institutions active on the region’s markets.  Based on the experiences of previous similar events, the CEE team is expecting a good attendance. With the hot topics addressed by our experienced speakers, together with the attendance of executives from different countries, this event is sure to be a success.
