Following our post on Monday 22nd August 2022, regarding Lloyds Bank’s issue – as a member of ITFA’s Digital Negotiable Instrument Initiative (DNI Initiative) – of their first ever digital promissory note, we are pleased also to highlight the involvement of our valued member and partner, international law firm Sullivan & Worcester UK LLP, which provided advice on the format, structure and validity of the note. We are thrilled to share breaking news with regards to Lloyds Bank – member of ITFA’s DNI Initiative.

Under legal guidance, Lloyds Bank developed a digital promissory note – a solution that works within contract law and utilises the International Trade and Forfaiting Association’s (ITFA) dDOC specifications, under the Digital Negotiable Instrument Initiative (DNI Initiative).
