ANNUAL CHRISTMAS COCKTAIL EVENT IN ZURICH, January 2024

On 18^th December 2023 the International Trade and Forfaiting Association (ITFA) and the Association for Forfaiting in Switzerland (VEFI) co-hosted the annual Christmas Cocktail event at the historic Zunfthaus zum Rüden in the heart of Zurich’s old town.

Zunfthaus zum Rüden, with its rich history and traditional Swiss charm and traditional meeting-venue of our community in Zurich, served as the perfect backdrop for the festive gathering. The historic ambiance of the venue added a touch of elegance to the event, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

The event attracted a diverse group of around 40 participants, including professionals from banks and other ITFA and VEFI member institutions and even some forfaiting legends. This diverse mix facilitated valuable interactions and discussions, contributing to the overall success of the Christmas Cocktail.

The event proved to be a successful and enjoyable occasion, fostering a sense of community among professionals in Switzerland’s forfaiting and trade finance sector. The event provided a valuable platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and discussions on the latest developments in the industry. As participants left the historic venue, they carried with them not only the festive spirit of the season, but also new connections and insights gained from engaging with their peers.
