ADB Trade Finance Gap Survey

On behalf of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), we kindly invite you to participate in the 2025 Trade Finance Gaps Survey. Your contribution will play a crucial role in helping ADB and its partners better understand the evolving dynamics of trade finance and the persistent gaps that continue to challenge global trade.

This year’s survey will once again seek to estimate the global shortfall in trade finance while examining current market conditions. It specifically explores the effects of tariffs on trade finance availability, as well as the broader impacts on financial institutions and corporates worldwide.

To ensure the highest quality and relevance of findings, ADB has assembled a committee of leading experts to guide the survey’s content and analytical approach. We are grateful for the expertise, counsel, and insights from:
