ITFA – Introducing the Conference Speakers in Warsaw – Dr. Rebecca Harding

The ITFA Board is delighted to announce that Dr. Rebecca Harding, Co-Founder and CEO of Equant Analytics, will be addressing the ITFA Annual Conference this year in Warsaw, Poland.

Dr. Harding is a technology entrepreneur and has also held senior roles in business, academic institutions internationally. These include founder and CEO of Delta Economics, Senior Fellow at London Business School, CEO of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor worldwide, Head of Corporate Research at Deloitte and Chief Economist at the Work Foundation.

She currently acts as the Chief Economic Adviser to the British Bankers Association. In her early career she was a Senior Lecturer at the Science Policy Research Unit, Sussex University and a Reader in Economics at the University of Brighton. She was a Specialist Adviser to the Treasury Select Committee and Chief Economic Adviser to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Entrepreneurship.

She has published 8 books and over 200 articles and reports. Rebecca is a Director of the German British Forum, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Arts, an Academician for the Academy of Learned Societies for the Social Sciences and a member of the Society of Business Economists.

At the ITFA 43rd Trade and Forfaiting Annual Conference, whilst addressing all the attendees, Dr. Harding will look at trends in trade and trade finance from an economist’s perspective. She will also look at opportunities and growth in global regions, the implications for trade of the UK’s referendum result and the UK presidential election and focus down the discussion to look at the key factors that are likely to keep bankers and trade finance professionals awake in 2017.
