ITFA AGM 2024 – Report

We are delighted to report that our recent online AGM was a great success, with many of you in attendance and participating in the voting process. The Board extends its gratitude to all members for their continued engagement and support.

In addition to approving the statutory accounts, members voted on several important matters. The Board elections resulted in the successful re-election of Andre Casterman, Christopher Hall, Lorna Pillow, and Simon Cook. We also welcome two new Board members, Mr. N.L.N. Swaroop and Ms. Sian Aspinall, who will bring fresh perspectives and energy to our leadership team. We thank Johanna Wissing and Zhang Mei for their dedicated service as they step down from their roles.

Members also approved the 2023 accounts and auditors’ reports, and endorsed the continuation of Re-Vision Treuhand GmbH as our independent auditor. Furthermore, several changes to the Association’s statutes were approved, including the introduction of group memberships, the streamlining of certain committees, and clarification of the electronic voting process.

Our Treasurer, Silja Calac, provided a detailed presentation of the 2023 accounts, highlighting a reduction in the balance sheet due to a number strategic projects aimed at enhancing membership experience. Despite the small reported loss, ITFA’s financial position remains strong, also supported by successful events and sponsorships.

We encourage all members to register for the upcoming ITFA week in London this July and the Cyprus conference later in the year. Your participation and support are vital to the ongoing success of our events and initiatives.

Thank you once again for your active involvement and commitment to our association. We look forward to your continued support and seeing many of you at our future events.

You can find the recording of the AGM here.

We look forward to greeting you all in Cyprus!
