C4DTI Digital Trade Conference & Awards

The ITFA Board is pleased to announce that we will partner with ICC United Kingdom and the Centre for Digital Trade and Innovation on their upcoming event: C4DTI Digital Trade Conference and Awards, taking place over two days from 17 – 18 April 2024.

Sessions will discuss practical implementation of cross-border interoperable trade systems highlighting best practices, solutions, lessons learnt from pilot initiatives and will give attendees access to the international experts leading projects and programmes. 

We are excited to announce that ITFA will be represented by Sean Edwards, who will form part of a panel discussion entitled: ‘Working towards interoperability: Enabling digitalisation throughout the supply chain.‘ 

This year, the C4DTI Awards, will be special in light of the Electronic Trade Documents Act recently coming into force, making the use of electronic trade documents legally recognised.  The event will take place on the evening of Thursday 18 April 2024 at The Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn, immediately after the end of DTC.

Moreover, we are very proud to announce that Sean Edwards, ITFA’s Chairman, has been shortlisted for the category of ‘Director’s Award for the Individual who has made the greatest contribution to the Digitalisation of International Trade’ at the forthcoming C4DTI Digital Trade Awards to recognise his achievements and contribution to the advancement of digital trade. We encourage all of you to attend!

The future will be very different and fully digital. Trade digitalisation will help us make trade cheaper, faster, simpler and more sustainable especially for SMEs and supply chains who feel the burden of paper and bureaucracy the most.
