The ITFA Board is excited to let you know about its very first in person event of 2022. On Thursday 3rd March, the ITFA Northern European Regional Committee (NERC) is organizing an event entitled “ESG in Trade: The Way Forward”. The event, which is open to ITFA members only, will consist of a seminar which will start at 3.30pm, followed by a drinks reception from 6.15pm onwards. The event will be held at the premises of Allen and Overy LLP, One Bishops Square, London E1 6AD, United Kingdom.

3.30 – 3.35pm: Welcome and Introduction
3.35 – 3.50pm: ITFA’s ESG Committee: Mission, Scope and Plans – Natasa Ruiter – ITFA ESG Committee
3.50 – 4.20pm: Avoiding the regulatory quagmire: validating, measuring and accrediting ESG – Rebecca Harding – CEO, Coriolis Technologies
4.20 – 5.00pm: Setting common standards for sustainable trade and trade finance: presentation and discussion of the ICC’s consultation paper – Ravi Hanspal – Partner, BCG and Tomasch Kubiak – Policy manager, ICC Banking Commission
5.00 – 5.15pm: Tea/Coffee Break
5.15 – 5.55pm: Panel Discussion: How will ESG shape the trade finance market going forward?
5.55 – 6.10 pm: Q&A and closing remarks
6.15 – 8.30 pm: Networking drinks & canapes
NOTICE: Please be advised that filming and photography will be taking place during this event.
Each member institution is entitled to 3 invites to the seminar and the networking drinks. We kindly ask each main delegate to send an email to lanika@itfa.org, indicating who will be attending from his/her respective institution, and whether they will be attending only the seminar, or only the networking drinks or both. We kindly ask you to RSVP by latest 24th February 12:00 UK Time. Attendance will be on a first come first served basis.
Please bear in mind that the seminar qualifies for 2 CPD points.
