Building on last year’s initial ITFA fintech discovery day, we will collaborate again with Finnish Fintech Ecosystem (FFE) and Standardised Trust to organise the 2020 edition which will take place on Thursday 27 February 2020.
The event will feature growing fintech adoption by various financial institutions and concentrate on the following market-level trends and innovations:
“We initiated this educational day with ITFA, Finnish Fintech Ecosystem, and Standardised Trust last year, and focused intentionally on actionable innovations in order to identify low-hanging fruits with new technology partners”, said Jari Hänninen, Director, Nokia Corporation who is looking forward to report on one practical outcome, “Following that discovery exercise, we successfully completed a pilot with Traydstream in partnership with some of our banking partners in order to apply machine learning on documentary credits. We understand better now how specialized technology can help us benefit from increased digitization and automation and what it requires from us.”
Patrik Zekkar, Head of Trade Finance & WCM at Nordea is looking forward to this special day too: “Trade Finance is a complex eco-system. Banks require to manage various types of technologies, and being able to discover, enhance the usability as well as understanding how they integrate during the one single day is a great opportunity.”
