ITFA Annual Conference, Budapest – Announcing the Speaker – Dr. Maria Mogilnaya

The ITFA Board is delighted to announce that Dr. Maria Mogilnaya, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), will be one of the speakers at this year’s ITFA Annual Conference in Budapest, Hungary.

Dr Maria Mogilnaya will be moderating a panel discussion titled “Supply Chain Finance in the CEE – a dream in the making?

Maria will share the EBRD’s vision for the development of supply chain finance in the CEE. She will be joined by bankers from the region who will share their own experiences in developing supply chain finance solutions.

Dr Maria Mogilnaya is an associate banker and a lawyer in the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme specialising in promoting green trade finance in the EBRD region, with a special interest in supply chain finance and sustainable supply chains. Dr Mogilnaya is experienced in negotiating and structuring trade finance transactions in developing countries, including in Armenia, Albania and Kosovo, and in private sector development through innovative capacity building projects.

Dr Mogilnaya holds a PhD in Banking Law and Regulation from De Montfort University (2012) and a Diploma in Jurisprudence from Saint-Petersburg State University (2004). Since 2011, Dr Mogilnaya has been working at the EBRD within its Trade Facilitation Programme.
