ARC Educational Webinar – Outlook For Country Risk in Africa and its Impact on Trade and Trade Finance

ITFA’s Africa Regional Committee (ARC) is holding its first educational webinar of 2025 to explore the outlook for country risk in Africa and the impact it could have on trade and trade finance across the continent. This webinar is aimed at trade financial professionals and those financing or underwriting trade in Africa.

The webinar will include presentations by Robert on upcoming elections in Africa, security and infrastructure trends, and the outlook for local currency payments, followed by a presentation by Tedd on the outlook for trade flows across Africa and the key challenges and opportunities for trade finance. The webinar will conclude with a fireside chat between Tedd and Rob, sharing views on their presentations and unpacking the issues further, along with an online Q&A.

The educational event is open to all and free for participation, welcoming not only ITFA members but also individuals from diverse affiliations and interests.
