2023 ADB Trade Finance, Gaps, Growth and Jobs Survey

The ITFA board, as a collaboration partner of Asian Development Bank (ADB), is writing to invite you to participate in the 2023 ADB Trade Finance Gaps, Growth, and Jobs Survey, in partnership with ITFA, International Chamber of Commerce, African Export-Import Bank and World Trade Organization.

This survey is a biennial, flagship ADB publication and follows the release of the 2021 Asian Development Bank Trade Finance Gaps, Growth, and Jobs Survey, which was produced by TSCFP and ADB’s Economics Department. The survey results are used as the global barometer for trade finance gaps and provide valuable insights to policy makers, regulators, and financial institutions, to help raise awareness and understanding of the persistent levels of global unmet demand for trade financing, and to shape commercial, policy and advocacy decisions in support of trade financing.

Your input to the 2023 Trade Finance Gaps, Growth, and Jobs Survey is crucial to ensure that we continue to analyze and take measures to address the underlying causes of the trade finance gap. This year’s survey also seeks to understand the impact of sustainability and ESG issues on trade financing, and tests market readiness to adopt potential innovations aimed at increasing global capacity to finance international trade.

Please be assured that all information that you provide will be treated with strict confidentiality and will only be used for the purpose of compiling an anonymized, aggregated analysis of the survey data.

To participate in the survey, please click on this link or visit https://adbtf2023.questionpro.com/banksurveyWe kindly request that you respond to the survey before 15 June 2023. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact ADB at tfp_scfp_rms@adb.org. Please only respond to one link if you have already received this survey from ADB or one of their other collaboration partners.

Thank you for your participation and contribution to this important initiative.
