ITFA Annual Conference, Budapest – Announcing the Speaker – Mr. Charles Bryant

The ITFA Board is delighted to announce that Mr. Charles Bryant, Secretary General – European E-invoicing Service Providers Association, will be one of the speakers at this year’s ITFA Annual Conference in Budapest, Hungary.

Mr. Bryant is Secretary General and founder of the European E-invoicing Service Providers Association (EESPA), which brings together 70 firms active in providing e-invoicing and supply chain automation services. He sits on the European Multi-Stakeholder Forum for e-Invoicing and the CEN Technical Committee for e-invoicing standards.

In the area of supply chain finance, he was editor on behalf of the International Chamber of Commerce and a consortium of finance-related associations for the publication: ‘Standard Definitions for Techniques of Supply Chain Finance’.

Charles was formerly secretary general at the European Payments Council responsible for the Single Euro Payments Area payment schemes; senior adviser at the Euro Banking Association, which published a well-regarded guide to supply chain finance; a director and executive at SWIFT in Brussels; consulting roles with Tungsten Network and others; and had a 25 year career in a number of international banks, such as NatWest, Midland and Chase, with senior assignments in London, New York, Hong Kong, and Sydney with a specialisation in trade finance and international services.

At the Conference, Mr. Bryant will be talking about the European E-Invoicing Market.  Digitalization is everywhere – and happening in invoicing and supply chains. Supply chain automation and supply chain finance are two sides of the same coin. What are the implications for finance providers and what opportunities for collaboration could accelerate adoption?

We look forward to welcoming Mr. Charles Bryant in Budapest, and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
