Syed Hassan Javed
Syed joined GIB in October 2017 as Head of Trade Finance. He has over 15 years of experience in SCF and started with RBS, with Citi Structured Trade and Lloyds Global Trade. He has worked very actively with Fintechs and very keen to join us as an active member. We will be working together to bring in more fintechs and Saudi banks as ITFA members. He would like to work on our distribution and SCF related initiatives. He will also be part of a panel at GTR MENA in Sept. He is based in Bahrain but has almost bi-weekly visits to Dubai. And while at the moment we are still limited to zoom meetings/ catch ups Hassan will be working the Dubai in person meetings into his travel schedule.
