Cindy Jiang
Cindy was a Class Underwriter in Political Risk and Trade Credit at Talbot Underwriting Ltd, an American International Group (AIG) company and Lloyd’s syndicate. She worked with major commercial banks, state-owned enterprises, global commodity traders and multilateral financial institutions by providing them tailored political risk and trade credit insurance.
Previously, Cindy worked at AIG as a Graduate Underwriter in the Upstream Energy Division. This position involved servicing a wide range of clients including world’s leading oil companies and service contractors.
Cindy studied Political Economy at the University of Birmingham. She is currently ACII qualified and has also completed several Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) Political Risk and Trade Credit specific courses.
Cindy has been an active member of ITFA since joining the Emerging Leaders Group in March 2021.
