DNI Initiative Webinar – Adoption of e-bills of lading

We are delighted to invite you to attend an information session about the adoption of the e-bills of lading. Both DCSA and TradeLens will be on stage sharing their latest progress in this complex area.

Who is DCSA? Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) is a nonprofit, independent organisation established in 2019 by several of the largest container shipping companies. DCSA’s mission is to be the de facto standards body for the industry, setting the technological foundation for interoperable IT solutions. Together with our member carriers, DCSA creates vendor-neutral, technology-agnostic, standards for IT and non-competitive business practices.

Who is TradeLens? TradeLens is an open and neutral supply chain platform underpinned by blockchain technology. The TradeLens platform has been jointly developed by IBM and GTD Solution, a division of Maersk. The TradeLens eBL is a standard, industry-supported, end-to-end digital solution that provides shippers, cargo owners and freight-forwarders a streamlined and secure process for the issue, transfer and surrender of original bills of lading.

The session will feature the following speakers:

  1. Welcome by Philippe Henry, Co-Chair Groupe MLETR Paris Europlace
  2. Introduction to DCSA Standards by Thomas Bagge, CEO and Statutory Director, DCSA
  3. Introduction of TradeLens by Daniel Wilson, Head of Strategy and Operations, TradeLens
