As promised, ITFA is working closely with BACEE (Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe), to provide the ITFA members with preferential rates  for BACEE organised seminars, educational courses and events.

ITFA has the pleasure of announcing a 10% discount to be given to all of its members wishing to register for the BACEE Country Risk Seminar with Special focus on the New Basel III Requirements for Banks. This is a 2 day seminar which is going to be held between 9-10 March 2015. The emphasis will be on the factors influencing the sustainability of a country’s economic development, international credit standing and risk of its default.  The Seminar will give a detailed explanation of the differences between country and sovereign risk, give definition of sovereign default, and provide an overview of history of recent financial and economic crises. It will also provide a critical assessment of the data sources used for country risk analysis and provide a list of the most important qualitative elements of country risk. A comprehensive analysis of macroeconomic performance and the main financial ratios will complete the analysis.

The seminar will then be followed by a 1 day workshop on Banking Sector Analysis which is to be held on the 11th March 2015. Both events will be held at Danubius Grand Hotel Margitsziget, Budapest, Hungary.

If one wishes to attend and benefit from the reduced rates for the seminar and/or workshop, kindly fill in the registration form.
