Announcing the speakers of the Insurance Survey Presentation, Bristol 2021 – 6-8 October

With just three weeks to go to the ITFA annual conference, we cannot contain our excitement. Be sure to join us in Bristol at this year’s edition of the Annual Conference being held between 6-8 October in Bristol. Please click here to register at your earliest as time is running out.

In order to support our regulatory advocacy work, but also to give a better overview to our members on risk mitigation behaviour, ITFA has again cooperated with IACPM in order to sound the Bank-Insurance market. We obtained information from a very representative panel of banks on their usage of insurance for RWA reduction and credit capacity enhancement in the years of 2019 and 2020. This survey follows market soundings we had done in 2017 and 2018. The detailed results will be published in the coming months but participants at the ITFA Conference will get first-hand information on the outcome. And we can already tell you that some of the results are astonishing – others confirm what we have been telling the authorities over the last years.

We look forward to an interesting session titled: ”Sneak Preview to the ITFA-IACPM Insurance Survey 2021” in which Daniela Czuck – Munich Re and phd Student, who has worked together with IACPM on the evaluation of the data, will present the numbers gathered from the survey, Tamar Joulia-Paris – IACPM will moderate the panel, while members of the Insurance Committee involved in creating this Survey, Carol Searle – Texel, Jean Maurice Elkouby – ING and Silja Calac – Chair – ITFA Insurance Committee will discuss the survey findings. This session will take place on Friday 8th October at 10:15am.
