Alberto Carrion Morillo
Experienced banker with 10+ years involved in different aspects of Trade Finance, across several geographies and teams. Strong product knowledge across a variety of syndicated loans, acquisition financing, LBOs, trade related assets, structured trade & commodity finance, ECA backed financing, secondary sales and political & credit risk insurance products. Proven track record of originating transactions, creating and maintaining relationships and selling assets to a varied and wide investor’s base.
Alberto currently holds an Executive Director position at the Private Debt Mobilization team within Santander Group. He has been actively cooperating with ITFA since 2014 in different committees like SERC and in the ITFA Insurance committee. He also enjoys teaching in higher education programs as well as playing piano and clarinet.
Alberto holds a MS in Industrial Engineering, a Master’s degree in International Finance and a Master’s degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets through different international universities in Spain and USA.
